BagPop™ is a terpene flavor spray built to recreate the exact flavors shown on your packaging and fulfill customer-requested profiles—from bright fruit to candy-style accents. Works on flower, buds/nugs, pre-rolls, plant material, and can be lightly sprayed on extracts during processing.
There are two distinct ways to flavor your product, each with a different goal.
1) Spray Method — For Bag Scent & First-Open “BagPop”
Goal: Make the bag smell amazing on first open and through display/transport.
How it feels: A bold, brand-matched aroma that “jumps out of the bag.”
When to use:
You want strong shelf appeal and a clear packaging-to-experience match.
You’re flavoring larger batches quickly and evenly.
You want a consistent baseline across SKUs.
2) Drop Method — For On-Inhale Flavor
Goal: Make the material taste like the flavor during the session.
How it feels:
Light drops (2–3/bud): You taste it—clean, on-inhale flavor pop.
Heavy drops (4–5/bud): They smell it—the exhaled aroma carries into the room and draws a crowd.
When to use:
You need a showcase nug or a flavor-forward user experience.
You’re dialing precision on specific pieces (buds, pre-roll tips).
Pro Tip — Hybrid Approach
Spray for the bag, drop for the star pieces. This combo delivers a big first-open BagPop plus on-inhale flavor where it matters most. Keep notes so your spray-to-drop ratio is repeatable batch after batch.
Baseline dose: 1 spray per ounce of plant material
Targeted dose: 2–5 drops per bud (start low; 5 = strong)
Spray distance: Hold the sprayer ~6 inches above the surface
Packaging: You may seal immediately after application
Immediate use: Wait ~20 minutes before use for best flavor lift
Handling: Handling is fine anytime after application
Best results: Seal ~24 hours to allow full flavor set
Adjust as desired: Increase sprays gradually for bigger BagPop
Heads up: In the first hour post-application, aroma can read extra strong before it absorbs
Note: Different formulations vary in strength. Pilot a small batch and record your ratio.
BagPop on first open
Single spray per ounce: Light, clean bag scent—a subtle teaser.
Two–three sprays per ounce: Big, brand-matched BagPop that jumps out of the bag.
During the session
Light drops (2–3 per bud): You taste it—a tight, on-inhale flavor pop.
Heavy drops (4–5 per bud): They smell it—the exhaled aroma projects into the room; people nearby catch the note (think crisp blueberry) and it draws a crowd.
Prep: Room-temp material; spread in a single, even layer.
Spray: Hold ~6 inches above the tray. Sweep side-to-side with ~30% overlap. Start at 1 spray per ounce; gently toss/roll and add a light finishing pass only if needed.
Prep as above.
Apply 2–5 drops per bud to taste, rotating gently to avoid pooling.
Use the supplied sprayer for best results.
Atomizers can create a mist that’s too fine, reducing effectiveness and perceived intensity.
Too subtle: Add +0.5 spray/oz (or +1 drop/bud) and retest.
Too bold in the first hour: Normal—seal and allow 24 hours to settle.
Uneven aroma: Re-tray to a single layer; increase pass overlap; seal in a bag to allow the aroma to infuse evenly.
